For purposes of explanation and not limitation, most account suspensions, terminations and/or deletions are the result of violations of these rules, the End-User License Agreement (EULA), or other Wargaming.net policy. Players may cancel any account registered to themselves at any time by following the instructions on the Website. Wargaming.net may stop offering and/or supporting any service at any time.

    5. Inappropriate Conduct In-Game/Fair Play Principles

The following actions (and similar such actions) are prohibited in game:

5.01 Intentionally damaging vehicles or modules of vehicles or stunning crew members belonging to a player on the same team (team damage) where it’s technically possible.

5.02 Intentionally destroying vehicles belonging to a player on the same team (team kill) where it’s technically possible.

5.03 Intentionally blocking (blocking from front and rear) vehicles belonging to a player on the same team.

5.04 Intentionally propping (blocking on one side, where the other side of a user’s vehicle touches a fixed indestructible obstacle, preventing free movement.) vehicles belonging to a player on the same team.

5.05 Intentionally informing participants of the opposing team through battle, or voice chat, the location of vehicles belonging to players of the same team.

5.06 Intentionally exploiting the physics system to damage an allied tank. This includes, but is not limited to, pushing an allied tank into line of fire, pushing allied tanks off of cliffs, bridges, into water, etc.

5.07 Using bots, clickers, macros, keyboard and mouse recorders, or any other similar methods that enables gameplay without the participation or with passive participation of the player within the battle.

5.08 Repetitive and excessive passive play.

5.09 Intentionally and repetitively harassing a specific player over a series of matches.

5.10 Intentionally destroying your own vehicle to avoid being killed by an enemy.

    6. Automated Rule Enforcement

The “Automated Anti-TK Reporting System” is the system that actively monitors battle activities, searching for players who massively cause damage to vehicles of their own team (team damage), or intentionally destroy vehicles of their teammates (team kill).

6.01 Based on battle history over a particular period of time – usually several occurrences – the automated system sanctions players involved in friendly fire and team kill incidents. The calculations are quite complicated and the main factor that is taken into account is damage inflicted to allies to total damage ratio.

6.02 If the above ratio for a particular user exceeds a fixed threshold value, the system identifies the user as a violator, since his main target is doing damage to allied vehicles.

6.03 If the damage ratio for such user exceeds the verifying coefficient, such user is identified as an offender and goes onto the suspension list.

6.04 While calculating damage to allies / total damage ratio only the battles with team kill/damage incidents are taken into account.

6.05 In connection with the introduction of Automated Anti-TK Reporting System, listed below are set uniform ban measures that can be taken against offenders in order of escalation:

    • 1 Hour
    • 1 Day
    • 7 Days
    • 30 Days
    • 90 Days

The “Automated Anti-Bot Reporting System” is the system that actively scans the game logs searching for players who use automated bots, clickers, macros, keyboard and mouse recorders, or any other similar methods to accumulate credits and experience without the participation or with passive participation of the player.

6.06 In the case of detection of single or short-term signs of use of automated scripts (bot software) in user’s logs, user’s account is taken under thorough control by the administration. The owner of the account can be informed by special notifications sent to the registered email.

6.07 In case of detection of signs of massive or overt use of automated scripts or botting software in user’s logs, the user’s account is suspended permanently, with a possibility of suspension being lifted in the future, after the administration conducts a complete rollback of vehicles, achievements, funds (credits) and research except premium tanks, premium consumables, premium shells and gold.

    7. Manual Rule Enforcement

7.01 Special Events held within World of Tanks can be subject to their own rules and regulations additional to those defined within this document. Examples can include but are not limited to:

    • Account Sharing
    • Match Fixing
    • Gambling
    • Submission or appropriation of copyrighted/unowned material under the guise of user-generated content.

7.02 Anti-Toxicity measures (ref: 5.09/5.10) will be subject to appraisal on a case-by case basis. Claims in this area can include, but are not limited to:

    • Co-ordinated and/or premeditated attempts by a clan or individual to specifically ruin the experience of a specific player over an isolated session or an extended period of time.
    • Stream-Sniping. “Stream sniping” means using the knowledge gained while watching a stream to join the same battle as the streamer and get advantage in the game by circumventing normal game mechanics (including but not limited to discovering positions of hidden enemy vehicles).
    • Continuous verbal attempts to provoke a specific individual via the in-game chat system, even if language prohibited by section 3 is avoided.
    • Repeated instances of “drowning”, crashing, or destroying one’s own vehicle (i.e. committing in-game suicide) to avoid destruction at the hands of the enemy team.

Claims in this area do not account for:

    • Receiving focused fire simply because you are in a top-tier tank or considered to be a high-level player – with or without the assistance of mods.
    • Being destroyed by the same individual or clan in a fair and honest battle on numerous occasions simply due to repetition of a specific tier or game mode on a low-population server (ANZ).

7.03 In connection with the introduction of Anti-Toxicity Reporting System, listed below are set uniform measures that can be taken against offenders in order of escalation:

    • 7 Days
    • 30 Days
    • 90 Days
    • Permanent Account Ban

Similarly, it is important to note that those found to have sought the Anti-Toxicity Reporting System unjustly for the purposes of targeting specific individuals without the necessary evidence to support their claim can themselves be sanctioned under the structure listed above, on the grounds of making repeated false accusations.

7.04 Wargaming reserves the right to withhold in-game opportunities (such as future events, or competitions) to users who have been sanctioned under any of the conditions stated in section 7.

    8. Reporting In-Game Violations

8.01 Due to the introduction of an automated system of violations tracking (team damage, teamkill), the administration draws your attention to the following information – with the introduction of this system, users’ complaints about the above mentioned violations will not be considered. All requests relating to ban cancellation or minimizing the punishment period, laid by the system, will not be considered. Additional information on the automated system of team killers and bot users tracking you will find on this page: Automated Anti-TK Reporting System

8.02 Abuse or exploitation of the Anti-Toxicity reporting system for the purposes of trying to respond to a personal feud or clan rivalry without the necessary evidence to support the case may result in sanctions placed on the reporting user.

8.03 While Anti-Toxicity claims can be supported by external evidence such as Twitch clips or Discord screenshots, the core of the case must be built on in-game examples including replays and/or chat-logs. Claims providing only external evidence will not be considered.

    9. Clan Management

9.01 Administration does not bear responsibility for any inner-clan management actions.

Clan leaders are heeded to take care when selecting clan members (especially whilst assigning clan members to important roles such as the Deputy Commanders & Treasurers). WG will not and does not get involved with internal clan politics. Actions like players with treasure management access withdrawing gold from the clan, or players with members management access removing other players from the clan are ordinary clan operations and will not be looked into by WG.

    10. Miscellaneous

10.01 Repeated violations any area of these Rules or the EULA, including the areas detailed above, will often result in permanent suspension from the game and/or forums.

10.02 This policy is not language-restrictive. Language that falls under this policy will always be subject to the repercussions listed, whether it is inappropriate in English or any other language.

10.03 Players may provide feedback or address any concerns to World of Tanks Support
